I love new ideas!!!

I apologize for not updating sooner...I have lots and lots of things to share. YW camp for me is next week...exactly 7 days--in just a few minutes it will be 6 days. As soon as I am back, I will reveal ALL that we did for camp....from daily devotionals to secret sister things.

If you have any ideas that you would love to share--everyone that checks this blog, would love to have them too. Please email me or add your comments to this post with your ideas or thoughts!! We all can benefit from sharing. If you have any fun, spiritual or any type of activity--please share that too!!! Hope to hear from everyone that reads this blog.

Also, Krichele, will you please send me the details of your YW RS Service Auction. I would love to post the information here.

Thanks!!
Michelle

Exploring Snow Party

Have young women dress as explorers. (Big Coats, hats, gloves,etc.).
Plan dinner in the snow. (Have them eat from cans, etc.)
Plan activities such as a treasure hunt. (Put things in snow and have clues.)
Talk about if you don't find it the first time, keep trying. Just like the gospel--don't give up, keep trying. You could have someone come and show them how to survive in the snow and have them build a bed, etc.

build your own dinner party

Each girl is asked to bring her favorite recipe, but the recipe is "un-built". She will put the recipe and ingredients in a sack. When everyone arrives, hand each girl a new sack (one they didn't bring).

Work together and prepare the recipe.

Serve dinner.

It's nice to have a firm set of rules in life.

Compare recipes and then exchange them.

Have a "Pixie Week"

Have a Pixie Week. Prepare inexpensive ideas for a full week. Then have each girl choose a woman in the ward she admires and "pixie" her each day. Part of Integrity is to follow through.

Gifts could include a nice handwritten letter, a homemade book mark, a card with a special thought, etc..
